Precision, Performance, and Perfection, All Rolled Into One

Inland Label always brings you the most exciting label innovation and now we are proud to be the first in North America to deliver Roll-Fed Injection In-Mold Labels. Together with CBW Automation, we have taken our IML expertise and their automation knowledge to create an entirely new label technology for high volume, low SKU products. You get the same photo quality graphics and ultimate durability as traditional IML with up to 30% cost savings!

Unlike traditional Cut & Stack In-Mold labels, Roll-Fed IML is supplied to the molder in roll form. They are cut in place on the production line before being placed in the mold. This process allows for thinner gauge films to be used, reducing raw material use and providing improved throughput on your lines all leading to significant savings vs. traditional IML.

Not only does Roll-Fed IML have the potential to save you time and money, it enables you to use in-mold decoration for very large and very small products that historically have not been able to utilize IML. Now virtually any molded product can enjoy the benefits of in-mold labeling – vibrant, photo quality graphics, ultimate durability and extended brand presence.

While Roll-Fed IML is an excellent alternative to traditional IML considerable cost savings can only be achieved when used with the right applications. Choosing the technology that is right for your business requires some analysis of the number and volume of parts you intend to produce. If you are new to IML, you’ll want to be thoughtful of your business focus, not just today but into the future. Do you see yourself primarily as a low SKU, high volume producer (Roll-Fed advantages) or a high SKU, low volume one?

Cut & Stack veterans will want to analyze existing volumes as well as future forecasts using the same thought process to see if adding or converting some of your capacity to Roll-Fed makes sense. Inland Label can help with an analysis of your actual or planned production to assure the right process for your business.
