InColor: Inland’s Custom Print Color Management Program

At Inland Label, we have decades of experience in custom color printing that goes hand in hand with our 4 color process system.  Now, we are proud to present InColor, a state of the art color control and management system.  Our InColor system offers the ultimate in color control, providing you with accurate and consistent color to preserve your brand integrity.

The InColor Process

InColor is the entire process from pre-press all the way through the press run.  All color adjustments take place during the proofing stage so there is no need for color adjustment on press, saving you trips to our facility for press approvals.  What you see on the proof is what you will see on press.

Inland Label’s InColor system is truly innovative because our color control system is built into our state of the art Heidelberg XL 105 Offset presses, making the entire system automated, efficient, and accurate.  From the moment your graphics are inserted into our workflow, one comprehensive software package directs color conversion, plate output, press set-up and color control during printing.

Innovative Technology

Inland Label’s seven color process printing (7CP) is part of the InColor system, but is unique in that we chose specific colors that come together to provide our customers with a wider range of line colors that are more accurate.  To make things easier for our customers, Inland Label created custom 7CP Pantone conversion books for every substrate we offer so you can be confident the swatch you see is the color you get on press.  Once you’ve chosen your colors, the InColor system will accurately reproduce the color combinations using a completely standardized and automated process, leading to less human error and consistent color print run after print run.  Seven color process combined with InColor is also a great option for brands with photo intensive graphics.

With the InColor System from Inland Label, you’ll get:

  • Industry leading color tolerances from proof to press within 2 delta E
  • Proof to proof color tolerance within 1 delta E
  • Consistent color print run to print run
  • Better definition in screened areas
  • Global standardization and brand consistency

Is InColor right for me?

Developing, adopting, and implementing a system like this requires a thorough understanding of color management and color reproduction along with an understanding of opportunities, challenges, and limitations of the system.  Whether you use 4CP, 4CP plus line colors, or 7CP, our InColor system perfects your color combinations.  The InColor system, with 7CP, is an excellent option for customers who print small quantities of many SKUs.  They are also ideal for co-packers or customers using many SKUs and/or different combinations of SKUs every print run.
